Diablo IV is already on the market, and both Deluxe and Ultimate edition users, as well as regular players who bought the standard edition, are slaying demons left and right. The highly anticipated fourth numbered installment of Blizzard‘s prestigious franchise is captivating thousands of players worldwide, thanks in part to its immersive story and the endless possibilities for character customization.

But some fans of the Diablo franchise have been left wanting to play it. Players like Whoopi Goldberg. Yes, you read that right. The Ghost actress lamented in a recent Instagram post that, despite being able to play previous Diablo games on her “Apple computer” (Mac, to be specific), this time it wasn’t possible: “suddenly, now, Diablo IV is not available to me on my Apple computer.”

Despite Diablo IV not being available on Mac (nor on Game Pass), Goldberg jokingly mentions that she purchased the game and couldn’t play it when it was released. She requests Blizzard to allow her to play on her “Apple” computer: “I’m Whoopi. You know how much I love Diablo. I would like you to allow us to play for those of us who use our Apples. Let us play on the Apple. Take Diablo IV and let us have a great time with it.”

While it is true that Diablo IV has not officially been released for Mac, some users are taking advantage of a feature in the new macOS Sonoma that allows them to convert Windows games to macOS and play them through emulation. It’s not perfect and may have some flaws, but it’s better than nothing. So, Whoopi, if you’re reading this, install Sonoma on your Apple (if it allows you to) and indulge yourself in some serious gaming.
